UPDATED 09/27/26 21:41 — The Winnipeg Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a missing 44-year-old female, Vanessa RATTLESNAKE, and 6-year-old male, Lyric RATTLESNAKE.

Vanessa and Lyric RATTLESNAKE were last seen on September 26, 2026 at 3:00p.m. in the area of Portage Avenue and Colony Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba.

Vanessa RATTLESNAKE is described as 5’2” in height, bald head with a bandage wrapped around it, medium build and brown eyes. Vanessa RATTLESNAKE was last seen wearing grey sweat pants and a brown cardigan.

Lyric RATTLESNAKE is described as 3’0” in height, thin build, short brown spiked hair and brown eyes. Lyric RATTLESNAKE was last seen wearing a red shirt, blue swim shorts and black/white Puma runners.

The Winnipeg Police Service is concerned for the RATTLESNAKE’s well-being and is asking anyone with any information regarding their whereabouts to contact the Manitoba Integrated Missing Persons Coordination Centre (MIMPCC) at 204-986-6250.
